OOOOOOPS!
So the club made a holiday schedule for the Groupex classes and took a bunch off because so many people take time off and are out of town for the holidays. So I have been telling people to be sure to look at the schedule and make sure their classes are still going. I was very good about announcing this - but not good at looking myelf. So Tuesday morning I show up at the club to teach my 8:30 Barbell and there are already about 8 people in there ready for class. So I go ahead as planned and teach the class. About 45 minutes into class I see a few of my regulars and they come in and tell me that my class was not on the scheudule. OOOOPS! I taught it anyway. I am just glad that at least 14 other people didn't look at the schedule either and came so I had people to teach. I was wondering why the class was so small compared to usual......... :)

Christmas Wish List
It is so funny to my husband the things that I want for Christmas. Most women want jewelry, scarves, kitchen things or craft supplies. Not me! I asked for exercise clothes and equipment for my bootcamp. He went looking for a ladder for me to use in my classes and looked for about 20 minutes before finally asking someone to help him find it. When they pointed out the box it was folded up in he was very confused because he was looking for a real ladder that you use to climb. Luckily I told him that it was at Sports Authority or he might have bought me a ladder from Home Depot! Not sure what I would do at Bootcamp with that - but I am sure that I would come up with something! :) I was very blessed this year with workout clothes and equipment and I am excited to use them! I should also have enough tio FINALLY sign up and start my Personal Training!! Can't wait!

Beautiful Heartbreak
I sent my bootcamp a song from Hilary Weeks called "Beautiful Heartbreak" and here is the story behind some of that song....

I watched it and cried. I hope that you are inspired from this as well. I could be doing so much more....

How embarrassing!
So Tuesday I taught my barbell class. I got there early like I am supposed to and got all set up. Then I walked around talking to all the members and meeting the newbies in the class and going over how class runs and all. That was about 20 minutes total. Then I taught the class and chatted a little afterwards with more people. Then I decided to take the next class, and then jumped into Zumba as well. I was there about 3 hours total and I talked to so many people and was totally clueless that the whole time I had my shirt on INSIDE OUT! I realized this because something kept tickling my arm and when I looked down I saw this big old tag sticking out the side of my shirt! If you could see this tank that I wear - it is obvious! I cut out the built in bra and was not careful about it either. I cannot believe that no one said anything! Anyway.... I was folding the laundry just now, and that tank was in there, and I relived the experience in my head and had to share! :)

Food Group Confusion
So I think that the schools need to do better when it comes to teaching the Food Groups to kids. I was training a very sweet, and very inteligent girl who put Cheez-Its on her food journal under "dairy". I thought that was funny until I asked my daughter and another girl what food group Cheez-Its went under and they both said "dairy"! We have a problem..... I guess I better do a better job too. My own kids were tricked!
